According to Catalyst, women earned 36.5% of MBA degrees awarded in 2013-2014. Because of the low percentage of women MBAs, there are several MBA scholarships available to women. A sampling of them are listed below, starting with general scholarships programs and then US and international MBA scholarships.
List of Scholarships
- For women getting a full or part-time MBA or EMBA at participating business schools
- Exemplary leadership – academic, team, community or creative – needs to be demonstrated
- Draws from diverse educational and work backgrounds, career goals, ethnicities and citizenship
- Demonstrated commitment to women and girls through mentoring or community development
- Average GMAT for class of 2016 – 701
- Average GPA (also for class of 2016) – 3.6
- To apply for the Forte Fellows Program, you must submit your MBA application to a participating school.
Appraisal Institute Education Trust - AIET Minorities and Women Education Scholarship
- Must be pursuing a degree in real-estate appraisal or related fields
- Must be enrolled in real-estate classes within a degree granting college or university
